Hollywood star Julia Roberts has sent a congratulatory message to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola after he guided the club to its first-ever Champions League crown.
City defeated Inter Milan 1-0 in Saturday's Champions League final in Istanbul to become champions of Europe for the first time in their history, scooping the Treble in the process.
Midfield enforcer Rodri scored the only goal of the game, sweeping the ball home with 68 minutes on the clock. Despite heading into the contest in Istanbul as overwhelming favourites, City were made to work for their maiden Champions League crown, as Inter applied plenty of pressure after falling behind.

And now Roberts, who was once described as one of three 'idols' in Guardiola's life, has congratulated the Catalan on leading City to the famous trophy.
