Hollywood star Zack Norman has passed away at the age of 83.The actor, who was known for roles in Romancing The Stone and Cadillac Man, and who had guest appearances in The A-Team and Baywatch, passed away on Sunday, 28 April, with his son-in-law Jeff Briller confirming the sad news to Deadline.
Born in Boston in Massachusetts, Zack attended the Governor’s Academy and Vanderbilt University and received an executive MBA degree from Harvard Business School before making his big break in acting.
During his career, which started back in the 1960s, Zack first worked as a comedian and broke into the world of TV in 1969 when he performed stand-up comedy on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
He also produced John Arden’s Live Like Pigs, which was a long-running drama that opened off-Broadway in 1965. In 1981, he landed a role in Milos Forman's Ragtime in 1981 and in 1984 he appeared in Robert Zemeckis’ Romancing the Stone before starring in Robert Downey Sr.’s America in 1986.
