The British actress, 34, who won an Oscar in 2018 for her short film, The Silent Child, will play Debbie, the sister of Madelaine Petsch's character, in the reboot of the original, which starred Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman in the lead roles.The Strangers, set for release in 2023, will tell the tale of a young couple (Petsch and Froy Gutierrez) who embark on a cross-country drive for a new beginning, only to be terrorised by masked strangers when they stop at a secluded Oregon AirBnb.
