Owen Warner's mum Polly has opened up about her battle with the congenital heart condition Ventricular Tachycardia, which has left her needing a heart transplant.

Polly, 57, was first diagnosed with the condition at just 18 months old, after she was discovered to have a leaking mitral valve and narrowing of the aorta.

She has since been suffering problems her entire life, and underwent invasive heart surgery for the first time at the young age of 11.

And at the age of 34, when her sons were all under the age of five, Polly was hospitalised for heart failure, after she suffered a cough which quickly worsened.
