This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby has reportedly laid down the law with her co-stars as she told them there was “no room for another scandal” on the show.

The 42 year old star, who recently returned to the ITV morning staple after an extended Summer break was keen to draw a line under the show’s scandal from earlier this year, when former co-host Phillip Schofield quit after admitting to an inappropriate relationship with a junior colleague.

Phillip stepped down from working at ITV altogether in May after admitting to having an affair with a much younger male colleague - a revelation which left ITV in crisis mode as they raced to manage the situation.

Since Phil’s exit, which came after he had spent two decades on the show, no official replacement has been announced by the network, with Holly instead having been joined by a selection of co-presenters including popular favourites Alison Hammond and Craig Doyle.
