Holly Willoughby suffered an unfortunate accident on This Morning as she dripped honey all over her new £435 dress. The 42 year old presenter, who returned to the ITV show this week following the Phillip Schofield affair scandal, was tasting a pastry puff made by baking expert Juliet Sear when some of the filling spilled onto her outfit.
Her co-host Craig Doyle spotted the mishap and offered to help, dipping a paper towel into his glass of water to help her clean it off. “You’re dripping honey all over your new dress,” Craig said. “I’ve dampened that, have a little wipe down.” Holly said: “It’s too late, it’s too late.” Refusing the damp paper towel, she added: “If I do that I’ll have a massive wet patch.” In an apparent reference to bladder control problems as you get older, Craig joked: “Welcome to my world, I’m a 52 year old man who can’t wear chinos.” As Holly giggled, Craig added: “Sorry, filthy.” Holly showcased the stunning pink dress on Instagram earlier on Thursday. The designer item is from Mercy Delta, she confirmed before the show.
Fans of the show were quick to reply to the post complimenting her outfit for her last show of the week. One replied to her post saying: "Stunning!
This dress is perfection xx." Another simply wrote: "Love that dress." A third follower added: "Beautiful great TV couple you and Craig." A fourth posted "Love this dress, gorgeous." On Wednesday's show Holly also stunned in a bright orange Bethhie Floral-print Woven Maxi Skirt, that was from Ted Baker.
