Holly Willoughby has devised a plan to get back into This Morning viewer's good graces following Phillip Schofield's explosive exit from the show.The 42-year-old has been on an extended summer break following the Phillip Schofield scandal and his admission to an affair with a much younger male colleague.

ITV bosses were in crisis mode earlier this year trying to handle the bombshell news, and This Morning's main star Holly faced backlash from viewers.It's been reported that Holly felt she was 'snubbed' by viewers after failing to receive an NTA nomination for Best Presenter.

Meanwhile, her co-star Alison Hammond made the shortlist and will battle it out against Ant and Dec, Claudia Winkleman, Bradley Walsh and Martin Lewis.Following on from the Schofield drama and NTA snub, Holly has come up with a plan to bond alongside her co-stars Alison, Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson to reclaim her fanbase.

An insider told Heat Magazine: “Holly’s trying to stay positive and put a brave face on everything, but this has really hurt her.”They continued: “She’s worked really hard to maintain her position in the top spot on the top show, and being ignored by the NTAs feels like such a huge snub.
