Holly Willoughby’s final words to This Morning viewers before she stepped back from the show have been revealed, after the presenter announced that she’d quit the ITV show.
The TV star, 42, who joined the This Morning sofa 14 years ago, took to Instagram to announce that she was saying goodbye to the popular daytime show and that she’d made the decision for “me and my family” Holly’s shock announcement, which has seen her be supported by her co-stars, means that her last show on This Morning dates back to Wednesday 4 October where she was joined by co-presenter Josie Gibson.
As the pair finished off the episode, Holly told viewers at home that she’d “See you tomorrow”, though she never returned back on air after reportedly being put on “indefinite leave” by This Morning following an alleged plot to "kidnap and murder" her.
As she announced the news that she was leaving the show after over a decade, Holly wrote on Instagram: “This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together.Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive.To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you. “Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers.
