Holly Willoughby’s co-host for her This Morning return is revealed

Holly Willoughby is set to return to This Morning after a two week break on Monday 5 June, following Phillip Schofield's axe from ITV.

It has now been confirmed that her co-host for the show will be Josie Gibson. Alison Hammond told viewers that Josie would be joining Holly on the couch in the ITV studios as she and Dermot O'Leary signed off Friday's show.

After presenting the show all week with Dermot, Alison said: "Holly will be back on Monday with Josie." Josie, 38, has a regular reporting role on the show and has co-hosted the show on many occasions too.

Holly took an early holiday from the show after news of Phillip’s departure from the show emerged. He later went on to resign from ITV and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague.
