Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Holly Willoughby referenced Mel B on This Morning today, days after the Spice Girls star appeared to take a dig at her and Phillip Schofield.

Mel's bandmate Mel C was on the ITV daytime show to chat to the hosts about her new book. Mel, whose real name is Melanie Chisholm, shot to fame in 1994 alongside Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell before becoming internationally known for their message of Girl Power.

And her new book will follow her journey from her bedroom in north-west England to global recognition with the group. Holly, 41, and Phillip, 60, were soon talking to Mel about some of the crazier and wonderful stories in the book.

However, there were also moments being in the world's biggest girl group that people wouldn't expect. "You think, wow they must’ve been plucked and taken into this extraordinary showbiz life," Holly said. Mel 48, explained that she was living with Mel B during the early days of their fame. "We were living in a little house, opposite Geri’s mum, and I was on a mattress on the floor when Wannabe was at number one. "Because of course, you become successful but if you’re lucky enough to have the success that brings you money and wealth, it comes a little bit down the line."
