Holly Willoughby has reportedly told Marks and Spencer bosses that she needs to pause her £1 million deal with the high-street retailer as she continues to remain out of the spotlight.
Holly, 42, stepped down from This Morning in October after 14 years of presenting the show, after a man was arrested after plotting to allegedly kidnap and murder the TV presenter. The TV presenter would usually be front and centre of the M&S Christmas campaign, but has been noticeably absent this year, with sources close to her revealing that she has been left too "traumatised" to consider returning to the public eye at the moment.
A friend of Holly told the Daily Mail: "Holly is still absolutely traumatised and her priority is her family right now. "She decided to take time away from the limelight for a while and just concentrate on dealing with the situation.
It has been very sad for her and everyone around her and she is dealing with it in the best way she can. "So with that in mind, she just wants time with her family to heal." The outlet also reports that Holly has paused her long-standing deal with cosmetics company L'Oréal.
