Holly Willoughby was none too pleased during a heated debate about the cost of living with guest Beverley Turner on This Morning.

Speaking on Thursday's instalment of the ITV daytime show, Holly, 41, who recently shared a nifty hack for dog owners, explained to viewers that parents have been "living in McDonald's" with their children to save money on rising household bills.

While the television presenter dubbed it as one of the "saddest" things she'd ever heard, commentator Beverley didn't appear to have much sympathy as she urged parents to "get a job".The debate began when Holly explained the "reality of the situation", saying that families had been seen "brushing their teeth" at the fast-food chain to dodge their energy bills.

Beverley interjected to say: "I don't think there are many people doing that, we need to keep perspective in a way." Holly looked visibly irritated as she said that even one person doing this was still "one too many".
