Holly Willoughby has welcomed her new This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary by telling him he hasn't aged in a decade. Although Dermot, 50, usually presents Friday episodes of the ITV daytime show with Alison Hammond, he hasn't sat on the sofa alongside Holly, 42, for nearly 10 years - but when the pair started Monday's show with a throwback to the last time they co-hosted, Holly told Dermot he looked "exactly the same".
Sharing a clip from 2014, Holly couldn't believe how little Dermot had changed in the years in between. As she welcomed Dermot to the show, she began: "Hi Dermot O'Leary!" Dermot told her: "This is weird because obviously we see each other a lot in real life, but we haven't worked together since we did Xtra Factor together." Reminiscing about their time on The X Factor spin-off show, Holly said: "In 2008, before I had Harry.
I wasn't even a mum then." Dermot said of Holly's oldest child: "When you had Harry, we took Harry on Harry's first world tour. That year was just the Harry world tour.
I remember picking him up in an airport." Holly replied: "He went to Simon's judges house...now he's 14, Dermot." The pair then remembered that they had briefly co-hosted This Morning together when Dermot was a stand-in host for a week in 2014 and showed viewers a clip of the last time they shared a studio.
