Overeager tourists have been caught on camera laying out their sunbeds at 6.30am - three and a half hours before the pool opens.
Holidaymakers in Tenerife were spotted dragging the loungers away to bag the best spots. Dad-of-two Matthew Vine, 46, filmed the keen sunbathers while having a coffee on his hotel balcony.
He said the early morning rush was a daily occurrence, despite the fact the pool at their hotel, Globales Suneo Tamaimo Tropical, didn't even open until around 10am.
Matthew, who was on a two-week holiday with his wife, Sarah Vine, 46, a waitress, and his two children - Charlie, 11, and Holly, seven, said: "It was massive - there were two pools and plenty of sunbeds.
