Hogwarts Legacy have been scrapped, according to a new report.Hogwarts Legacy was first released in 2023 and went on to become one of the biggest selling games of the year, despite middling reviews and backlash towards Harry Potter creator J.K.

To start with, developers said they had “no plans” to work on a DLC for the game but earlier this year, Bloomberg claimed an expansion and a “definitive edition” of Hogwarts Legacy were in the works ahead of the planned sequel.However yesterday (March 27), Bloomberg reported that the planned DLC for Hogwarts Legacy and the refreshed version of the original game have now been scrapped as part of the “ongoing restructuring” at Warner Bros.

Insider Gaming claimed the DLC was set to feature between 10 and 15 hours of new quests but was scrapped because the content was “not substantial enough to justify the price being considered.”The planned Hogwarts Legacy sequel is still in development though.
