manchestereveningnews.co.ukA prolific burglar who broke into people's homes as they slept and snatched their luxury cars has been put behind bars. Damon Keegan stole almost £350,000 worth of high-end cars including BMWs and Audis over the space of just a year, Greater Manchester Police said.
The 31-year-old ran a 'sophisticated' burgling operation across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire, but was busted when officers searched his garage and found a lock-picking set, a spy camera and a sledgehammer.
Keegan, from Hyde, was also caught using a radio frequency jamming device - used to block WiFi and phone signals, and disconnect doorbell cameras at homes.
