Hilary Alexander has died aged 77. The New Zealand-born TV star and fashion journalist passed away on Sunday, 5 February – her 77th birthday.
As well as writing for the likes of The Daily Telegraph, BBC and CNN, Hilary was a regular face on hit TV show, Britain's Next Top Model.
She was also a presenter at Clothes Show Live.The late writer was said to have coined the term 'supermodel', as was close pals with a series of high-profile fashion designers including Gianni Versace, Lee McQueen and Julien Macdonald.
Hilary, who was loving known by 'Hils' by her nearest and dearest, was named British Fashion Journalist of the year in 1997 and 2003 and went on to be given an OBE for her services to fashion.
