Hilarious responses as police share advice on where to leave car keys at night

A post shared by police advising people on where to leave their car keys at night has been met with a number of hilarious responses on social media.

The status, which was shared by Greater Manchester Police's Chadderton page, urged people to leave their car keys downstairs and not take them to bed with them.

It went on to explain that doing this would avoid putting 'yourself or a family member at risk' - however it quickly attracted a number of comments beneath. However others seemed to support the message, commenting that the tactic had potentially saved them from coming face to face with burglars in the past.
