Vanessa Anne Hudgens (born December 14, 1988) is an American actress and singer. After making her feature film debut in Thirteen (2003), Hudgens rose to fame portraying Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series (2006–2008), which brought her significant mainstream success.

The success of the first film led to Hudgens' acquiring a recording contract with Hollywood Records, with whom she released two studio albums, V (2006) and Identified (2008).

Congratulations are in order for Vanessa Hudgens who has announced that she is expecting her first baby.The former High School Musical star looked stunning as she showed off her blossoming baby bump while on the red carpet at the 96th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood on Sunday, 10 March.

As she posed for pictures on the red carpet, 35 year old Vanessa looked sensational as she cradled her baby bump. For the occasion, she sported a sleek long-sleeved black gown which showcased her growing bump.To finish off the show stopping look, the actress wore her hair in a half up, half down style and accessorised with an array of silver jewellery.

Vanessa’s exciting reveal comes three months after she married basketball player Cole Tucker in an intimate ceremony near Tulum, Mexico in December surrounded by a selection of their closest friends and family.The pair, who have been together for four years, said their ‘I dos’ at the Azulik City of Arts, with Vanessa calling the location a “utopia”.

Speaking to Vogue about her big day, she said: “I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before.
