Hibernian head coach Nick Montgomery has confirmed that he would like to sign Manchester United centre-back Will Fish on a permanent deal.
The defender, who is a graduate of United's academy, rejoined the Scottish outfit for a second time in July. He returned to Easter Road on a season-long loan deal, with the club to review his situation in January.
The 20-year-old, who featured for United in pre-season ahead of finalising his move back north, has made 22 appearances for Hibernian so far this season, chipping in with one assist.
As well as being an ever-present figure in the Scottish Premiership, he also made five appearances in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.
