Nick Montgomery says Hibs are primed to plunder the A-League for bargains - with Adelaide United’s Musa Toure on the Easter Road radar.
The former Central Coast Mariners boss confirmed the 18-year-old forward was being watched closely with his contract up at the end of the Aussie season.
Montgomery reckons the market down under provides huge value for money for Premiership clubs with ex-Mariners ace Lewis Miller a mainstay of his side while veteran striker Adam Le Fondre was also signed from Sydney FC in the summer.
Toure made his big breakthrough at Adelaide this season and netted his first goal in a 6-0 demolition of Melbourne City in October, becoming the third member of his family to score for the club after elder brothers Al Hassan and Mohamed.And Montgomery, who led the Mariners to a stunning A-League success in June before making the move to Hibs, said: “I know most of the kids in Australia and I track their progress and watch as many games as time allows.
