A hero Lanarkshire youngster helped save his dad’s life when he collapsed at home making breakfast, and has now received a special award from Police Scotland.Five-year-old Callum Tracey was staying at dad Kevin Hay’s house in Blantyre when the 43-year-old fell to the kitchen floor on Monday morning – and the quick-thinking youngster immediately called 999.Callum, who has communication difficulties, wasn’t able to say “ambulance” so asked for police; and when officers arrived they dispatched paramedics to help Kevin, who has since been discharged from a stay in hospital and is recovering well.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
