Spooked revellers reportedly fled a hen do at a Scots beauty spot after noticing something very eerie in one of their photographs. The women were celebrating a pal's upcoming wedding on a remote estate in Argyll and Bute when they were left horrified after snapping a burst of pictures just seconds apart.
In one of the images the friends are seen posing with their arms in the air with some holding masks. However, they started freaking out after noticing what appeared to be a small boy crouching behind a wooden stump.
As reported by the Mirror, the women 'fled' after doing some research and discovering a story about a child who slept-walked into the lake and drowned. It appears the story may be that of the The Blue Boy, which was the subject of a television film broadcast on the BBC in 1994, about a four-year-old who drowned in Loch Eck.
The film starred Oscar winner Emma Thompson and was said to have been filmed in the same location where the photographs were taken. The story is a dramatisation of a tale involving The Coylet Inn, a 17th century inn overlooking the loch that is said to be haunted.
