Paul Scholes has urged Bruno Fernandes to 'get closer' to Manchester United teammate Rasmus Hojlund in a bid to get the striker firing.

Hojlund has shown plenty of promise since arriving at United in a £72million deal over the summer but goals continue to be a problem.

The Denmark international has scored three times in the Champions League, including a brilliant brace against Galatasaray, but is yet to find the net in the Premier League.

He has been guilty of missing chances but consistent service has also been lacking, with no obvious patterns of attack playing to his strengths.
