Island Express, the company that owned the helicopter that crashed carrying Kobe Bryant, his then 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and 7 other passengers, killing them all, has released a statement about the crash via court papers. Kobe‘s wife and Gianna‘s mom Vanessa Bryant filed a lawsuit against the company and the pilot, citing “negligence by the pilot and the aircraft’s operating company” as the reason for the crash, as the conditions were not ideal to fly that day.
