2016 Paralympic Games in Rio, will defend his title as part of a six-strong Team GB squad that also includes doubles partner Alfie Hewett.
Reacting to the news on social media, Gordon posted: “I’m proud to announce I have been officially selected to represent Team GB at my fourth Paralympics in Tokyo later this year.“I’ll be competing in the men’s singles & doubles alongside Alfie.“Let’s go!”Rio 2016 saw Hewett and Reid go head-to-head in the first all-British men’s singles final, with the latter triumphing 6-2 6-1 just 24 hours after the pair won doubles silver together.
And Gordon will be aiming to build on his recent fine form which saw him scoop the Cinch Open title at Queen’s Club in London last week.
