Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Márquez, 32, indicated that teaching partner Helen Skelton, 39, the jive was really getting to him this week, as he indicated he was left “glitching” due to how tired he was.The Countryfile star was all smiles, however, as she geared up for a third day of strenuous training.

In view of his 716,000 Instagram followers, Gorka hinted he was feeling a little worse for wear.“We’re back. Day three,” he told his fans via a video on his Instagram story. “Building up to jive… Building up to it,” Helen added with a sigh.“I’m having some caffeine, I mean, loads of caffeine…” Gorka confirmed. “How many coffees have you had?” Helen asked innocently. “Seven already,” Gorka joked in a mock-serious voice.

The Strictly star then proceeded to act like a robot on the fritz, repeating, “Seven, seven, seven…” before suddenly yelling: “One, two, three, four, five six, seven!”The dancer’s odd behaviour and jerky movements prompted an amused Helen to join in as she also simulated a glitching robot.

However, Gorka then confirmed: “No, this is my second coffee and that’s enough.”“I’ve had two,” Helen agreed, to which Gorka replied: “Time for jive?”“Let’s do it!” Helen said, springing into action, as Gorka told his followers: “We’re just preparing ourselves, mentalising, visualising…”The pair then high-fived enthusiastically, as Gorka declared: “We got this, let’s go!”Next, Gorka posted a picture of the pair smiling together, which he captioned: “Pre-Jive.”However, in another snap captioned “Post-Jive” showed that Helen was smiling once again, while Gorka had jokingly distorted his face into a comical look of worry. This week on Strictly, Helen and Gorka will be dancing the Jive to the song Tightrope by Janelle.
