Helen Flanagan has bravely opened up about the personal struggles she faced following her heartbreaking split from Scott Sinclair.The beloved former Coronation Street star, who had been with the footballer for over a decade and shares three children with him, headed on what was supposed to be a dreamy New Year's getaway in Bali with their kids Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, last year.

A year on from the trip, Helen is reflecting on the past with a series of photos, revealing the immense changes that have taken place since then.

In a raw and honest Instagram post, Helen discussed family disputes, mental health challenges, and financial difficulties. She candidly shared: "This time last year: Christmas - I spent it in bed x i went to my mums for a few hours as my dad was calling me x" I said to Scott he could have the kids ( i live really north and he lives really south) because I wanted to take the kids to Bail for ten days for new year.

So I knew I had to be fair. But it really hit me out of nowhere. I said to my friends before hand it's just a day I'll be fine.
