Hollyoaks and Coronation Street actress Stephanie Davis has revealed she was overcome with emotion following the arrival of her newborn son Samuel, her second child.

Stephanie, 31, and her partner Joe McKalroy, 28, already parents to eight year old Caben from a previous relationship, announced the news on Instagram.In a heartfelt post, Joe shared: "Welcome to the world my beautiful baby boy Samuel McKalroy.

Named after your uncle the one and only who will always weigh heavy on my heart I wish so much that he could've met you and cherished you as much as I do.

It has been a traumatic experience but you are finally here in our arms.
