Britain's big freeze is well behind us with temperatures set to soar again today, but there are warnings that heavy rain will lash the country.
There are 135 flood alerts and warnings in place across England, Scotland and Wales for today and severe weather warnings in force for rain from tomorrow and into the week.
But the mercury will stay up after Sunday marked the hottest day of the year so far and temperatures will remain comfortably above zero today.
London is forecast to hit highs of up to 12C today. The warmer weather comes less than two weeks after Brits endured the full force of an extreme freeze with the coldest night in the country recorded since 1995.
