The spirit of England winning the Women's Euros has been infectious - and it has even made its way onto Manchester's Metrolink.
Video footage taken by 9 year-old Nate Ellaby, from Sale, last night captures the moment a tram driver burst into the adopted English football anthem Sweet Caroline at Pomona tram stop.
The tram driver can be hard saying "Well done to the ladies, winning the European Women's Cup, well done to them, congratulations," before bursting into the Neil Diamond classic. They frequently make journeys together on the city's tram system system, which Nate is "really into". The pair were travelling between Cornbrook and the Trafford Centre when the driver came on the intercom to update passengers about a temporary signal issue.
