The heartbroken dad of a 'perfect' 11-year-old boy who died suddenly has paid an emotional tribute. Aaron Higgs passed away on Saturday in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, in Edinburgh.
His Proud dad Martin described his eldest child as 'amazing' and a 'team player'. The keen footballer was an older brother to Aiden, six, and Evie, aged two.
Martin, 39, who was also Aaron's football coach at Musselburgh Youngstars, in East Lothian, said: "Aaron was an amazing boy.
