A family have been left to wonder if a much-loved granddad could have been saved following details which were discussed at his inquest.
Steven Thomson, known as Steve, tragically ended his own life at Eccles railway station on March 9, an inquest heard yesterday (July 31).
The 62-year-old had suffered with 'episodic' low mood, anxiety and depression, as well as an alcohol dependency which was described at Bolton Coroner's Court as a 'coping mechanism'.
His daughter, Rebecca Thomson, has now spoken out to raise awareness of mental health issues and encourage people who are struggling to speak out.
