Heartbreaking tributes paid to boy, 15, who drowned at Wigan beauty spot

Heartbreaking tributes have poured in for a teenage boy who tragically drowned in Wigan. The young man has been named as 15-year-old Alex Crook.

Emergency services were called to Scotman's Flash at around 3pm on Saturday (September 7). Efforts were made to rescue the teen from the water by members of the public and staff at the lake, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
