Amy Winehouse was famous for her unrivalled beehive, striking eyeliner and her tattoos. Her arms were covered in pretty and striking decisions, but her most famous was the picture of a woman wearing a red shirt and black shorts on her arm.
Many believe it was her favourite inking as she was always showing it off in photos, but it may also be because of the special meaning behind it.
She got it to represent and honour her grandmother Cynthia, who she was very close to. Amy was writing her second hit album Back to Black when Cynthia passed away in May 2006.
