A Liam Payne fan says that she was left devastated after a memorial for the singer in the city centre was removed. Summer Camilleri was one of dozens of his supporters who travelled to Manchester over the weekend to find that the tribute on Cathedral Gardens was no longer there.

Summer, 20, says that in the weeks after Payne's death, she and along with around 20 others have been visiting the memorial almost 'every day' to maintain its upkeep.

Over time, the spot has become a meeting ground for fans who are mourning Payne.
