“Heart-Wrenching To Witness”: Hollywood Stars Evacuate & React As Palisades Wildfire Rages
deadline.comHollywood actors including Mark Hamill, Mandy Moore, and Eugene Levy have been forced to flee their homes, as stars are reacting to the raging Palisades wildfire.
Star Wars actor Hamill said he evacuated “so last minute there [were] small fires on both sides of the road.” In an Instagram post, he added it was the “most horrific” blaze since the Kinneloa Fire of 1993.
This Is Us star Moore wrote on Instagram that she had evacuated her house alongside her children and pets. “Praying and grateful for the first responders,” she said.
Levy, the Honorary Mayor of the Pacific Palisades community, was also among those fleeing the flames. The Schitt’s Creek star told The Los Angeles Times that the “smoke looked pretty black and intense” in his neighborhood.
