A man who 'virtually' preyed on children using a live online link to the Philippines from his bedroom in Bolton claimed he was 'lonely'.

Jonathan Kumar logged onto paedophile websites so he could communicate with the mothers of the children 6,600 miles away, a court heard.

The 38-year-old then engaged in sick sexual activity with them and their young daughters. During warped exchanges from his bedroom, Kumar simulated sexual intercourse with youngsters as they were forced to virtually take part over a web cam.

Bolton Crown Court heard how he was arrested in August 2023 after police investigating the websites linked them to him.
