Mazar was originally found living on the streets of Afghanistan and had sustained some serious injuries. But after being brought to the UK in 2015, things soon turned around for him and he now lives a happy life with five other rescue dogs, a cat and rabbit.

They all live with Helene Svinos, an A&E doctor who has a special interest in dogs with special medical needs.
