Aberdeen have signed left-back Hayden Coulson on-loan from Middlesbrough. Record Sport revealed on Monday that manager Jim Goodwin was eyeing up a move for the former St Mirren loanee.
The Dons boss is keen to add further depth at the back and has moved quickly to secure the 24-year-old on a season-long deal.
Coulson trained with his new team-mates at Aberdeen 's Cormack Park on Tuesday and will be available to face champions Celtic in Sunday's Premiership opener.
He becomes Goodwin 's ninth addition of an extensive summer rebuild. Coulson had a short spell in Paisley during the short-lived Alan Stubbs era and has also spent time on-loan with Ipswich Town, Cambridge United and Peterborough United.
