Hayden Christensen packed on some pounds to portray Star Wars villain Darth Vader on the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.The 41-year-old actor in a recent interview with Fatherly said he worked out again like he did in 2005 to become the physically imposing Sith Lord.'I think that process was very important for me,' said Hayden who transformed from hero Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader in the 2005 film Revenge Of The Sith.

I just consumed as many calories as possible. I put on 25 or 30 pounds to fill out that [Darth Vader] suit,' he added.Hayden said the process took about nine months, but his Darth Vader body didn't stick around after filming. 'I try to avoid the dad bod thing.
And I was trying to maintain that Vader body after we finished. But, honestly, I pretty much just went back to my old diet. I kind of deflated after that,' he admitted.Hayden has seven-year-old daughter Briar Rose with his former partner Rachel Bilson, 40.
