Harry Potter fans have been sent into a frenzy after Netflix UK finally added all eight films to the streaming platform. The string of movies – the first of which was released back in 2011 – star big names such as Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, and are well-known as one of the most successful film franchises of all-time.
Netflix UK announced the news on social media on Wednesday, writing: “All eight Harry Potter films are now on @NetflixUK!!” Fans were quick to express their excitement, as one replied: “Finally!” “I might watch all the Harry Potter films within the next week,” said another excited fan. “Wait this makes me so happy,” added a third.
Someone else penned: “Finally, an opportunity to watch these mysterious forgotten gems.” Others thanked the streaming giant, who had over 17 million customers in the UK as of last year, for adding the films to the platform.
The Harry Potter cast are now all grown up over 20 years after the first movie, with Ginny Weasley star Bonnie Wright recently announcing her pregnancy.
