England captain Harry Kane celebrated the Three Lions' epic semi-final win against Netherlands in the Euros 2024 this week and is now preparing for Sunday's final against Spain - but his dreams of becoming a national hero stem all the way back to his childhood.
When Harry was just 11 years old, he and a school friend - who coincidentally is his childhood sweetheart and now the mother of his children as well as his wife - were just two of the lucky kids who got to meet former England captain, David Beckham.
The Bayern Munich star, who will be focusing on winning the major trophy with England at this weekend's Euro 2024 final, even previously admitted that legendary Beckham was his childhood hero growing up.
England skipper Harry met his hero David at the David Beckham Football Academy launch at London's Buoy Wharf in 2005. He was a young 11 year old and Harry, now 30, can be seen beaming in an adorable throwback photo that sees legend David proudly posing with his arm around his shoulder.
