Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to have been granted specialist police protection during their trip to the UK for the Queen’s jubilee.

The pair are set to arrive in England today, Wednesday June 1, with almost-three year old son Archie, and 11 month old Lilibet. This will be Lilibet’s first time on British soil, meaning she's never met her grandfather Prince Charles, or Her Majesty The Queen.

Harry and Meghan have long been embroiled in security debates since stepping down as working royals as it meant they were no longer eligible for police protection.

Despite this, the pair have reportedly been given “cast iron reassurances” that they will be protected by specialist police when they arrive, Mirror reports.
