Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still haven't told Buckingham Palace if they'll be attending King Charles's coronation, royal insiders have claimed.
This is despite the fact that those who received invitations to the historic event were asked to RSVP by Monday 3 April. After a spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed that they had received an invitation, Harry and Meghan were reported to have been in conversations with Charles and Buckingham Palace, sharing a series of demands for a possible trip to the UK.These demands are said to include an assurance that security will be provided for them, an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the other royals and, perhaps most importantly for the couple, that their son Archie’s birthday is recognised.
However, despite having been in conversation over their attendance, a royal insider told MailOnline that those planning the historic event are "none the wiser" over Harry and Meghan's attendance. This is said to be causing a "headache" for planners as they are currently attempting to finalise details such as seating arrangements and security. The source told the outlet: "Everything is still up in the air and there's only a month to go.
All people have been told is that 'it should hopefully be resolved soon.' "But in the meantime the teams are trying to finalise plans for 2,000 guests, many of whom are international heads of state and VIPs.
