Prince Harry is reportedly keen on securing a British base for his family, but security concerns have put a spanner in the works, an insider reveals.The Duke of Sussex, 39, was rumoured to be eyeing up properties in England as a home base for when he and his family visit from the States.
However, the search has been temporarily halted due to escalating worries about safety."Harry really does want to spend more time in the UK but doesn't feel comfortable doing that until the security issues have been ironed out," a source told the Express. "He and Meghan planned on looking for a part-time home near Windsor this year and hoped that the appeals process would be heard before the end of July so that they could properly start their search.
However, the court process seems to be taking its time."In 2022, Harry and Meghan were asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage, leaving them without a UK residence.
The late Queen had gifted the lease of the home to the couple as a wedding present in 2018. But after stepping back as senior working royals and relocating to California two years later, they were requested by King Charles to return the keys.
