Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were noticeably absent from the Super Bowl last night, despite being invited by American football bosses.
The Duke of Sussex was asked to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs after his appearance at the NFL Honours ceremony on Thursday.
An NFL insider revealed: "It is well known the Prince loves American football, and bosses have extended an invitation to him following his appearance at the awards. " However, instead of attending the big game, it seems that Harry and Meghan are gearing up for a significant business trip related to next year's Invictus Games.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are off to Canada this week for the opening event of their Invictus Games.They'll be in the country for three days to mark one year until the 2025 Invictus Games.
