Harrison Ford Talks Taking Over 'Captain America: Brave New World' Role From William Hurt

Harrison Ford opened up about filling William Hurt‘s shoes in his new movie Captain America: Brave New World.

The 82-year-old movie star appears alongside Anthony Mackie and Danny Ramirez as President Thaddeus Ross in the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, fans will likely recall that the role is one that William, who passed away at the age of 71 in March 2022, originated.

He played the character in 2008′s The Incredible Hulk and appeared sporadically in movies through 2021′s Black Widow. Brave New World arrives in theaters on February 14.
