Hans Zimmer will receive the top award for top box office film at the 2020 ASCAP Screen Music Awards, which will be held virtually Tuesday (June 23) through June 25.
Zimmer will receive the award for the reboot of The Lion King. David Vanacore, whose work includes music for CBS’s Survivor and NBC’s Deal or No Deal, is the top winner in the most performed themes and underscore category.
