Hamilton Accies boss says more January transfer deals are unlikely

Hamilton boss Stuart Taylor say it's unlikely that he will strengthen further ahead of the transfer window's closure on Monday, but thinks the club has done well so far.Accies picked up defender Dan O'Reilly, winger Ellis Brown, Rangers loan kid Kai Kennedy and former Livingston star Steve Lawson as they bid to strengthen for the second half of the Championship season.Taylor reckons the three who have played so far have shown their capabilities, and says there has been some good business done.When asked if anybody else would come in, Taylor said: "Probably not, but you just never know."I think we've had a good window, we've brought in four really good players who will improve the team, the squad and the club."I think up until now three out of the four - with Steve being the late one - they've definitely shown their capabilities to go and improve us."I think the club have been fantastic, and I thank the directors and owners for managing to get these deals across the line."We've got a good dressing room, with great lads in there, and they welcomed the lads in and I'm sure we will go and kick on."Taylor was pleased with Kai Kennedy's contribution as the 19-year-old scored on his first Accies start in the 1-1 draw with Ayr, and hopes to see more from the Rangers loanee.He said: "I felt that when he did get on it he looked as if he was going to create something, definitely in the first half."In the second half he probably was on it less, but when he did get on it he looked like something was going to happen."That's why we brought him to the football club - because he does look to go on the ball, he's brave enough to do that, and he fits into exactly how we want to go and play.
